The FASET Annual General Meeting returns on 24th September 2026, bringing together members, partners and industry colleagues for one of the most important dates in the Association calendar.
More than simply an AGM, the day is an opportunity for the FASET community to come together away from the day-to-day pressures of the industry: to hear what is happening across the Association, discuss the issues affecting our sector and have a meaningful say in where FASET goes next.
With around three quarters of the FASET membership expected to be represented, the 2026 AGM will put member conversation and participation at the heart of the day.
Following the formal AGM and daytime programme, members and guests will come together for FASET’s Annual Dinner & Celebration Evening, recognising the people, partnerships and shared commitment that continue to drive standards in fall protection and work at height.
An AGM built around our members
FASET exists because of its members.
And while an AGM necessarily includes the formal business of the Association, some of the most valuable conversations happen when people have the opportunity to talk openly about what is working, what needs to change and what they want from their trade association.
That’s why this year’s programme will create more space for member voices.
Alongside the formal AGM and guest speakers, members will have the opportunity to speak candidly, share experiences and help influence future priorities.
Because raising standards isn’t something an association can do to an industry.
It is something we do together.
Looking towards the future
FASET has always evolved alongside the industry it represents and this year’s AGM is another opportunity to ask what comes next.
What do our members need from their Association? Where can FASET add greater value? How should we recognise and share excellence across the sector? And how can we make sure the Association continues to represent the changing needs of the people and businesses within it?
Those conversations will help shape FASET’s plans for the years ahead as we build towards an important milestone: FASET’s 25th anniversary in 2028.
It makes 2026 an opportunity not simply to look back at another year, but to start shaping the next chapter.
Annual Dinner & Celebration Evening
After the day’s discussions conclude, attention will turn to an altogether more relaxed part of proceedings.
After a day focused on the serious business of safety, standards and the future of our industry, the FASET Annual Dinner & Celebration Evening will bring members together for a chance to relax – with entertainment from Harry Stachini.
Harry is a master storyteller known for his amiable, easy-going stage presence and sharp crowd work, with his comedy clips amassing hundreds of millions of views across social media. A regular at some of the UK’s leading comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store, Harry has taken his stand-up around the world, headlining in Dubai and Australia and appearing as part of the prestigious Mary Tobin Presents – Best of the Edinburgh Festival.
We spend our working lives taking safety seriously. For one evening, we’re looking forward to sharing a few laughs too.
