FASET will be raising money for Air Ambulances UK at its 2026 AGM, Dinner & Celebration Evening, with members and guests encouraged to support this important cause.

Taking place at Worsley Park Country Club on Thursday 24 September, the event will bring the FASET community together to discuss the future of the industry, celebrate its achievements and raise funds for the national charity.

Air Ambulances UK supports the UK’s 21 air ambulance charities, helping lifesaving crews deliver rapid, specialist care to critically ill and injured people across the country.

FASET’s decision to support the charity has both a personal and professional significance. In December, an air ambulance in Scotland came to the aid of a member of the FASET community bringing specialist emergency care when it was urgently needed.

The charity also has a close connection to FASET’s work and its membership. Falls from height can cause severe and life-threatening injuries, requiring an immediate emergency response and advanced medical care at the scene.

Becky Clutton, Head of Member Support & Operations at FASET, said: “We have seen the difference an air ambulance can make when somebody needs urgent help. For an association dedicated to protecting people working at height, this charity also has a very real connection to our members and the environments in which they work.

Members and guests will be able to make donations throughout the event. Every contribution will help Air Ambulances UK support air ambulance charities and the lifesaving work they carry out across the country.
