As the established trade association and training body for the safety netting and temporary safety systems industry, FASET works with a number of charities and organisations which exist for the benefits of those who work in our industry.
One of the leading charities is No Falls Foundation, which is dedicated to preventing falls from height and helping people affected by the consequences of a fall. FASET’s Managing Director, Tony Seddon and Technical Administrator, Joe Black are trustees of the No Falls Foundation.
Jason Anker MBE, is one of the ambassadors for the No Falls Foundation. Jason has become an inspirational speaker on the subject of falls from height and the wide-ranging physical and emotional impact a fall can have on an individual and their family and friends.
This year, Jason is marking the 30-year anniversary of the accident which tragically left him paralysed from the waist down by taking part in a number of activities to raise money for the No Falls Foundation and Mental Health UK.
These events include going up Mount Snowdon, ziplining on the fastest zipline in the world in North Wales and a 15,000-feet tandem skydive.
Jason has now created a special fundraising page. Please take a moment to visit the page to read Jason’s story and make a donation if you can. Thank you.
