Calling all Student Members. You’re invited to take part in our first-ever IOSH Student Member Competition.
It’s a great opportunity for you to put your skills to the test and solve a work-based problem. Plus, you could win a cash prize.
The task
We’ll publish full details of the task when our competition opens. But here’s a hint – it will involve writing.
Key dates
Our competition opens at 09:00 GMT on Thursday 01 February 2024. You will have until 16:00 GMT on Thursday 29 February to submit your response via an online form.
Why enter?
We live in a world of rapidly accelerating technology, new ways of working and changing priorities. Our task will test you as well as help you grow the knowledge and skills needed to deal with such challenges. It will also contribute to your professional development, which will help you stand out to employers.
Judging
Our panel, including IOSH representatives and our President, will assess all eligible applications. These will be blind judged, so we'll anonymise all submissions.
Prizes
The winner will receive £500 and there are three runners-up prizes of £150 each.
Eligibility
You must be a current IOSH Student Member at the time of entering the competition. We’ll publish full terms and conditions on launch day.
Wherever you are in the world and whatever your background, we encourage you to enter. Our Student Members represent a diverse community and we are keen to hear responses from all of them to reflect the different perspectives on this topic.
