Repairs carried out on all new Safety Nets purchased after 1st January 2008 must be either:
- Tagged to confirm that the net has been repaired by a competent person and the tag contains the following information:
a. Name or identification number of the person carrying out the repair
b. Date of the repair - Tagged with a unique identification number that allows for full traceability with Item 1 above.
The company must maintain a comprehensive record of all repairs.
NB: Repairs made before 1st January 2008 do not need to be retrospectively tagged, however it is good practice when inspecting nets to apply a tag to any compliant repair that isn’t tagged.
