Before allocating Safety Nets to a new project, each Safety Net must be examined by a competent person who attended a FASET Net Inspection and Safety Net Repair Course.

Safety Net damage caused during installation, such as a torn strand (as shown in Figure 1) can be temporarily repaired using an “On-Site Temporary Repair” (as shown in Figure 2). This can only be carried out by a CSCS Blue Skilled Carded Safety Net Rigger or a FASET Safety Net Repair certificate holder.
