FASET (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Training) is proud to be a part of the upcoming Work at Height event from the North-West Construction Safety Group (NWCSG).
The event, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 3rd October, is designed to enhance attendees’ knowledge and skills in preventing falls while working at heights. A focus of the event is keynote speaker Jason Anker MBE, who will share his story following an avoidable accident at work which resulted in him being paralysed from the waist down.
Tony Seddon, Managing Director of FASET, will be delivering an industry update and a talk on best practice in the lead-up to lunch. FASET is a SSiP registered member and has recently become a UKAS accredited association. It is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of safety, with the ultimate aim of preventing falls from height.
Also in attendance at the event will be the Ladders Association (a member of the Access Industry Forum), JMAC (a FASET member specialising in fall safety solutions) and the No Falls Foundations – of which Tony Seddon is a trustee.
The Work at Height showcase event will also include exhibitions and break-out sessions – all focused around the innovative methods which can be used to prevent falls from height. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided on the day.
Tickets for the event are available on a first come, first served basis. Preference will be given to NWCSG Members and their staff or prospective members. The event is sponsored by Wates.
