Damaged Knotted Safety Nets can be repaired to enable further use. The following FASET guidance should be followed to complete these repairs.

Permanent Repair Minimum Standard

• A Knotted Safety Net must not be repaired using a Knotless Safety net patch
• The repair twine used must be of new material and shall comply with BS EN 1263-1
• The repair twine shall be of the same type and thickness as the original net and approved by the Safety Net Manufacturer for a Safety Net repair
• Cable ties must not be used to connect the repair twine

Permanent Single Strand Repair

• The repair twine shall be of the same type and thickness as the original net and approved by the Safety Net Manufacturer for a Safety Net repair
