Why Specify a FASET Member?

FASET Membership has become a ‘must’ for all those involved in the Safety Net industry, with many Principal Contractors now insisting on FASET Membership as part of their pre-qualification process.

Principal Contractors who employ / specify a ‘FASET Member Company’ can be confident they are engaging an organisation who have been independently audited under an SSiP Scheme, to confirm they are operating to appropriate standards and industry best practice. This includes the issue of safety net fleet management, stock control and maintenance procedures, which ensures that in addition to a fully qualified workforce the equipment taken to site will be fit for purpose.

FASET Members are re audited on an annual basis to ensure processes and controls are still in place and that any industry changes are incorporated within Member Company procedures. This includes the regular communication of the new information to the Riggers. Each FASET member is awarded an annual certificate of accredited membership, and is entered on the SSiP Database.
