IPAF Announced as Association Partner at HIREland 2026

FASET is pleased to share the following industry update from International Powered Access Federation, which concerns those involved in safe work at height and access equipment.

IPAF has been confirmed as an Association Partner for HIREland 2026, the inaugural plant, tool and access hire exhibition taking place on 26 March 2026 at the National Show Centre.

As part of the partnership, IPAF will exhibit at the event, offering visitors guidance on powered access safety, training and best practice within the rental sector. IPAF’s Irish Country Manager, Damien O’Connor, will also deliver two presentations highlighting the growing importance of the IPAF Rental+ assurance scheme for hire companies and their customers.

Speaking ahead of the event, Damien O’Connor emphasised that while hiring powered access equipment is routine across many sectors, due diligence is often underestimated. He noted that Rental+ provides independent assurance that rental companies are operating to recognised standards and good practice, supported by competent personnel. This helps organisations reduce risk while demonstrating compliance with legal responsibilities.

IPAF is encouraging contractors and end users to ask suppliers whether they hold Rental+ certification and to support wider adoption of recognised standards across the rental sector.

HIREland Event Director Brian Coogan commented that IPAF’s involvement sends a strong signal that the event aims to deliver real value for the hire industry, focusing on improved performance, optimisation and customer satisfaction.

Visitors to HIREland 2026 will be able to meet the IPAF team at the event and attend presentations to learn more about Rental+ and how it supports safer, more compliant hire operations.
