FASET Supporter Member IPAF Publishes Annual Report Highlighting Growth and Global Safety Leadership

FASET is pleased to see Supporter Member the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) publish its latest Annual Report, showcasing another year of growth, innovation and continued commitment to improving safety for those working at height worldwide.

The report highlights significant progress across IPAF's training, membership and safety initiatives during 2024. Membership increased to more than 1,800 organisations across 82 countries, while over 230,000 individuals completed IPAF training programmes during the year, reflecting growing recognition of the importance of competence and safe working practices throughout the powered access sector.

Among the year's achievements were the continued expansion of IPAF's digital services, growth in international training delivery and the development of new training programmes designed to support operators and installers working across the industry. The organisation also continued to strengthen its auditing and compliance activities globally.

Safety remains at the heart of IPAF's work. Throughout the year, the federation continued to promote industry learning through its accident reporting programmes, technical guidance and global safety campaigns, helping organisations better understand and manage the risks associated with working at height.

These priorities closely align with FASET's own mission to improve safety standards across the temporary safety systems sector. Both organisations recognise the importance of robust training, competence, industry collaboration and the sharing of best practice to reduce risk and improve outcomes for workers operating at height.

As a FASET supporter member, IPAF plays an important role within the wider work at height community. The organisation's contribution to technical guidance, standards development and safety awareness helps support the collective effort to create safer working environments across the construction and maintenance industries.

FASET congratulates IPAF on another successful year and looks forward to continuing to work alongside the organisation and other industry partners to advance safety, competence and best practice throughout the work-at-height sector.
