The FASET CSCS card was launched on 1st February 2021 to all construction operatives who use temporary safety systems.
For the last six months, everyone who works at height and uses equipment such as safety netting, edge protection., stair towers and platform decking has been able to take advantage of a free transfer from their current CSCS card to the new FASET card. That FREE transfer period comes to an end on 31st July 2021.
CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the job they perform. As the established trade association and training body for the safety netting and temporary safety systems industry, FASET exists to help people who work at height to stay safe through the provision of expert guidance and training, with a range of exclusive member benefits.
Less than a month after the launch of the FASET CSCS card, on 25th February, FASET announced it had already issued its 100th CSCS card. The card has continued to be a popular option, with 249 issued since the start of February.
