The National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) has published its 2026 Annual Report, outlining another year of progress for the organisation and the wider scaffolding and access sector.
Presented at the organisation's Annual General Meeting (AGM), the report highlights continued growth in membership, ongoing investment in safety and competence, and a strong focus on supporting members through industry change.
Among the key themes emerging from the report are the importance of maintaining high standards across the sector, strengthening workforce competence, and ensuring the industry is well-positioned to meet future challenges. The report also reflects NASC's ongoing commitment to developing guidance, supporting best practice and representing the interests of its members across the UK and Ireland.
The publication comes at a time when the scaffolding and access industry continues to place increasing emphasis on safety, training and professional standards. Recent NASC data has shown encouraging safety performance across its membership, alongside record levels of operative engagement and member participation. These achievements underline the value of robust standards and industry collaboration in driving continual improvement.
Speaking at the AGM, NASC leadership reflected on the organisation's achievements over the past year and outlined priorities for the year ahead. These include further strengthening governance, supporting members through evolving regulatory requirements, and continuing to promote the highest standards of safety and competence throughout the industry.
For FASET members, the report serves as a reminder of the important role that industry bodies play in raising standards, sharing best practice and providing confidence to clients, contractors and the wider construction sector.
