Whether you’re just about to acquire supervisory responsibility on site, or you’re already a site manager, agent or person responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering the workforce on site, you may be considering the CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme, or our CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme. Here are three reasons you should book onto either the SSSTS or the SMSTS course:
Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
This course will:
1. Provide you with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation and your legal responsibilities.
2. Help you to identify how your supervisory role fits in with the management structure in controlling site safety and intervening in a timely manner when bad practice is identified.
3. Provide you with the necessary skills to carry out risk assessment, site induction, toolbox talks, and method statement briefings, effectively.
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
This course will:
1. Provide you with the skills and understanding to identify all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation that affects your daily work.
2. Provide you with an understanding and ability to implement new guidance and industry best practice.
3. Help you identify your duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment.
