NHS Open Space, developed by NHS Property Services (NHSPS), has expanded its flexible booking of NHS space across the NHS estate – offering communities a wide range of services from their local NHS hubs.
As NHS Open Space grows and welcomes new spaces nationwide, a wider range of services can use our flexible booking system to expand, work across multiple locations, and tackle the elective care backlog – optimising the NHS estate to deliver excellent patient care.
Christopher King, Principal Strategic Asset Manager at NHSPS commented: “We have seen more than 1,559,066 hours of care provided to patients across England with the NHS Open Space platform, showing just how vital a range of services are to local communities. From counselling and physiotherapy to vaccine administration, we hope to enable excellent patient care and deliver on the Long-Term Plan through our spaces.”
