FASET Safety Net Repair Training
Permanent repairs to safety nets must be undertaken by a competent person and this course provides the knowledge and reference information required to make a safe repair.
The principal safety net repair course covers the repair of the more common, knotless safety nets and is highly practical, requiring the delegates to fully understand the method of repair and demonstrate this to the trainer / assessor.
Knotted nets are less common and require a completely different method of repair, but use the same basic principles. This course therefore requires the delegates to first complete the knotless safety net repair course to understand the fundamentals and then undertake this mostly practical course and assessment.
Both courses are one day in duration and the qualifications have a life of 5 years, at which point re-training is required.
