Safety Net Rigging Qualifications - What you need to know
FASET receive many enquiries from Site Managers and Safety Officers asking how they can tell that a Safety Net Installer is competent to erect safety nets. Therefore, the following guidance notes have been produced to explain what to look for in a competent installer.

FASET CSCS Safety Net Rigger Cards and their use
Please note: All the cards listed below MUST have the words "Safety Net Rigger" endorsed on the rear to be valid for the holder to be installing Safety Nets.
Skilled Worker

The card will be endorsed on the rear "NVQ Level 2 – Safety Net Rigger" During the validity of the card, the holder of a Skilled Worker Safety Net Rigger Card is able to:

Experienced Worker
|
1-year non renewable card which is no longer available for issue. Was issued upon successful completion of both FASET General Site Assessment (GSA-1) and CSCS Work At Height Touch Screen Test. NVQ must be completed within the one year life of the card. |
Trainee
|
During the validity of the card, the holder of a Trainee Safety Net Rigger Card is able to:

Please note: Trainee Card Holders CANNOT work unsupervised and CANNOT hand safety nets over to the Client.
